Scavenger hunts

We've done quite a few scavenger hunts with cubs this year. The idea is that in online meetings, they have to find the item in their house as quickly as possible. We don't tend to keep track of who was quickest. Examples of prompts we've used are:

  • Something red
  • Something that smells nice
  • Something that makes music
  • Something spicy
  • Something warm to the touch
  • Something with batteries in
  • Something you would use to cook
  • Something you can wear on your head (that you are currently not wearing)
  • A book with the most pages
  • Something to clean with
  • Something that you would show aliens to convince them that humans are smart
  • Something that would help you in a zombie apocalypse
  • Something that would help a secret agent sneak into a private party
  • Something that would help you if you were stuck on a deserted island
  • Something that you would show people in the past to prove you are a time traveller
  • Something that is older than you
  • Your favourite stuffed animal/soft toy
  • Something that is smaller than you
  • Something that starts with the first letter of your name
  • Your favourite book
  • Something sweet
  • 3 round things
  • The queen's head
  • Your cub scarf/necker
  • A spoon
  • A pen
  • A clean sock
  • Something cold
  • You, wearing a silly outfit
  • Something that makes you happy
  • Something taller than you
  • Something that is not alive and has eyes
  • A medal or certificate
  • A reef knot
  • A handwritten thank you note
  • A way to keep away the darkness
  • A new dance craze
